Despite appearances, there apparently was no trouble on the Air West flight. See caption, Medford Mail Tribune July 3, 1968, page 8, announcing new Air West schedule using "the new larger size DC9-30 jets," the result of the merger of Air West with West Coast, Pacific and Bonanza air lines.
