Siskiyou Violins Ensemble

Thursday, September 5, 2019 - 4:30pm to 7:30pm

The Southern Oregon Historical Society invites you to spend a very special Thursday evening at Hanley Farm. September 5th the Carnegie award-winning “Siskiyou Violins: A World Class Violin Ensemble” will delight you with their enchanting music. Whether performing the lively tango, “La Cumparsita,” or the beautiful, enthusiastic sounds of “Bach Double Concerto in D Minor,” the music the Siskiyou Violins Ensemble produce is lyrical, bright, vibrant - so very pure and sweet. This is music performed only as these young violinists from southern Oregon and northern California can. Or, as one reviewer wrote, “What a great musical journey you took us on…such passion in your playing is delightful to hear!” We guarantee you, once you’ve experienced a Siskiyou Violins performance, you will definitely agree.

There will also be a raffle for prizes donated by local businesses, pizza, ice cream, drinks and popcorn available for purchase. This is an excellent opportunity to end your day with remarkable music performed by the talented, award-winning Siskiyou Violins. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, enjoy a refreshing drink, a slice or two of pizza, and . . .don’t forget the popcorn! Who can ask for more – friends, excellent music, and great food!
