Volunteer

If you love history, there's a place for you at SOHS.

Our buildings may be closed for winter, but we still need volunteers with the following specialized skills:

• Webmastery. Volunteer to help keep this our website up to date.
• Marketing. If you have a creative mind that can help us come up with new ways to market SOHS on little or nothing, we need you!.
• Maintenance. We need people with carpentry, plumbing, heating and other professional skills who can help us when we have problems at our various historic properties.
• Database programming.  We need someone to help us manage our membership database.
• Internet marketing. We need someone to help us sell our photograph images online.
• Social Networking. We need an internet-savvy person who can help us bring history to such sites as Facebook and Twitter.
• Moving, cataloging, and more. We are taking down some exhibits, and need people to help pack up, catalog and move artifacts.
