Stories of the 1980s with Kevin Keating

FreeThe 1970s and 1980s were a tumultuous period in America and a transitional period for Southern Oregon. Kevin Keating will show, through pictures and stories, the culture of the area and how it navigated this period during this Windows in Time presentation on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12 Noon–1:00 p.m. at the Medford Library, 205 South Central Avenue. This program will also be screened live at the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Boulevard, and online via the Zoom video conferencing app. All are welcome to attend this free lecture; registration is required.

The monthly Windows in Time lunchtime lectures feature well-known writers and historians and bring alive the people, values, and events that shaped our southern Oregon heritage. Lectures are jointly sponsored by the Southern Oregon Historical Society (SOHS) and Jackson County Library Services.
The Windows in Time series is currently held on Online on the first Wednesday of the month. The program is one hour, from Noon – 1 p.m. and is led by a variety of guest speakers. It’s a free event but registration is required.
