Summer Thursdays at the Farm
June 2 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until September 1, 2022
SOHS Hanley Farm Museum will be open every Thursday evening from June 2 to September 1. The public is invited to meander around the beautiful grounds, take a self-guided garden tour, picnic under the trees and most especially to take a costumed guided tour of the Hanley House.
The Hanley Family resided on this property from 1857 to 1983 when it was donated to the Southern Oregon Historical Society. Everything in the house belonged to the family so it is a very special treasure. Native people lived on this land for centuries before Europeans arrived and archeological finds are common.
On the first Thursday of each month, tours of the 1854 barn will also be given. And on third Thursday’s there will be wagon rides around the property. Each Thursday there will be children’s games available.
There is a fee for house tours, but admission to the grounds is free.
